It's definitely autumnal now and I hope you're managing to keep dry. So why not stay inside and browse the new McCall's patterns that have just arrived.
Here's a few highlights and we've selected a fabric that works perfectly for each.
M7991 is a mock wrap dress with a crossover bodice attached to a skirt. There's a couple of options on skirts - fitted or flared and several sleeve types so it's really versatile. It's a Learn to Sew pattern and would be great in our Florence printed Ponte de Roma which comes in three colours. I think this going on my sewing list with long sleeves, fitted skirt and I'll probably add pockets too.
There are a couple of jackets in the collection - M8011 is an unlined, bomber style jacket that I think would look great in Harley. It's a firm scuba fabric, with only a little stretch in the width, but it has this wonderful leopard foil print. You could dress it up for dinner or wear it with jeans when going out with friends.
Jumpsuits are still very popular and M8009 is a great interpretation. It needs a drapey, flowing fabric and our crepes would be perfect. In particular Loire would make a super garment - just right for the party season.
Lot's of options, so why not take a look at the collection now.
